Step 1

In order to draw diameter, first you have to choose the Dimensions option from the Insert menu. After that, you have to select the Diameter option as shown by the picture below.

Choose Insert>Dimensions>Diameter

Step 2

After that you have to specify the drawing point and then use the mouse to drag and draw the diameter. For an example, you could refer to the picture below.
